Well I am a HUGE tea drinker I love hot tea, I cut out coffee and now I drink tea every morning sometimes through the day and absolutely I have my favorite nighttime teas. I am NOT big on flavored ones, typically just have green tea, a gut health one with probiotics, chamomile, lemon and ginger etc. But I saw this apple pie spiced tea and said hmmm lets try it… survey says…..NOPE YUCK did not like it but then my cooking mind took over and I said to myself. “Self, lets marinate pork in this because pork and apples are amazing!”

I took a one gallon container and added all of the tea bags. I then filled it halfway with water and let it sit outside in the sun for 2 hours. I then added some apple pie spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and all spice and poured over my 2pound pork loin in a zip lock bag and left it in the fridge for 3 days.
I then removed the pork and placed it into a hot iron skillet and seared all sides, then finished in the oven at 375F for about 30minutes. I removed the pork and covered with foil for 5 minutes.

While the pork was in the oven I took this amazing sugar free apple butter that I had from a local farm and heated it in a small pot with butter, cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg and apple pie spice. I heated it all together and mixed well, once the pork was set and slice I poured the sauce over the pork.

I was so surprised with how this all came out and blended together. I was spot on with the pork and the apple tea, when I started searing all sides you immediately smelled the tea! It smelled like thanksgiving morning! This is absolutely a keeper and I am so glad I tried the tea thing!
